Personal guidance
At Rijschool de Veste, personal guidance is at the heart of what we do. Our team of young, enthusiastic instructors creates a relaxed and informal atmosphere during lessons. You’ll drive in a luxury car, and the lessons are fully tailored to your individual level.
At the start of each lesson, you and your instructor set clear goals together. After the lesson, you’ll review whether these goals were achieved. Based on this, we decide whether to move on to a new topic in the next lesson or dedicate extra time to the current one.
We provide a safe learning environment where making mistakes is okay, discussing them is encouraged, and learning from them is key. Additionally, we use the StudentApp, which allows you to easily track your progress and gain insight into the areas that need further attention.
We also teach according to the well-known RIS method. This ensures you’ll hit the road feeling confident and well-prepared.
What is the RIS method?
RIS stands for Driving Training In Steps and is a professional method to properly prepare students for participating in traffic. With Driving Training in Steps (RIS) you learn to drive step by step through 4 parts:
1. Learning to operate and control the car
2. Control easy actions and traffic situations
3. Managing difficult actions and traffic situations
4. Learn to drive safely and responsibly
